Marc Gulley

Marc joined Bison Ventures in early 2024 in a fractional CFO capacity and is responsible for overseeing the financial operations and back office functions of the firm.

With over 25 years’ experience working for and with small to medium sized, high growth businesses, Marc enjoys the fast-paced entrepreneurial environment and finds inspiration from the creativity it fosters. Now serving as a fractional CFO for the last several years, Marc previously served as CFO for Altira Group, a Denver based venture capital firm where he worked with Tom. While at Altira he was responsible for the traditional CFO and back office duties, and was also an investment team member. Prior to Altira he worked for two real estate companies in accounting, finance and operational roles, and began his career in public accounting with Arthur Andersen.

Marc has an accounting degree from the University at Albany, is a CFA charterholder (retired), and holds CPA designations (NY & CO, retired). Originally from New York, Marc moved to Colorado in 2000 and currently resides in Idaho where he can be found exploring the mountains with a motorcycle, fly rod and gold pan.
